Making Tax Digital requires digital VAT records and a digital link from those records to HMRC. VAT Solver Pro is that link: a return prepared in Excel, PDF, CSV, or XML goes to HMRC without retyping the boxes. It is produced by Evolved Software, whose filing software has been HMRC-recognised since 2004.
VAT Solver Pro is separate from Gateway Solver Desktop. The Gateway Solver 2.95 update does not apply to VAT-only customers.
