Install

Step-by-step: install Gateway Solver. The same file installs and updates: https://download.evolvedsoftware.com/SetupGatewaySolver.exe. Version 2.95 and later use https://gatewaysolver.evolvedsoftware.com. Allow *.evolvedsoftware.com and HMRC / Government Gateway hosts on TCP 443. Checksums are in the release notes.

HMRC recognition

HMRC lists Evolved Software Studios Ltd for Gateway Solver and Insite 123 on its CIS commercial software suppliers page. Insite 123 is the earlier product name. The desktop sold now files CIS. Recognition means the product has filed a valid CIS300. It is not an HMRC endorsement.

No. PAYE / RTI filing through Gateway Solver was retired for the 2025/26 tax year. The product sold now is CIS.
