“The recorded flight path is in the wrong place”
There is a small difference between the global coordinates used in Microsoft Flight Simulator and Google Earth. The differences are small — metres — but if you want landings, approaches, or take-offs in detail you may need to calibrate first. Walkthrough: FSX GEFR help file.
Version 1.0 was freeware
The first public build was released as freeware so Flight Simulator users could say what worked. Later builds (through 1.9, December 2017) stayed a small add-on. It is not Gateway Solver or VAT Solver Pro.
